Rocky Balboa’s home, Philadelphia, has become a city under siege in this first person shooter. The North Koreans have taken over the U.S., occupying the country with an iron fist, while a ragtag gang of revolutionaries attempt to win power back.
The political motivation is less Che Guevara and more 1980’s movie Red Dawn, complete with direct-to-DVD dialogue and American jingoism. Nevertheless, the action is an entertaining mix of running-and-gunning amidst huge maps, motorbike chases, and quieter moments in which you perform covert operations amongst the general populace. Weapons can be customised - battle rifles turned into sniper rifles, crossbows into flamethrowers.
Movement can be an issue - your character occasionally behaves like a geriatric oaf. America under North Korean control looks more promising than it would be under President Trump.
