Logitech brings you the sound of the underground
Judging the quality of speakers isn’t all about volume. Once your ears start bleeding it’s probably time to rethink your listening habits. As long as there is clarity, without distortion, then you’re on the right track – and Logitech’s 2.1 speaker system has more clarity than a Tibetan monk on the path to enlightenment.
This system features a pair of stereo speakers and a subwoofer unit. It’s compatible with pretty much any device – televisions, game consoles, computer, smartphones or tablets – thanks to 3.5mm and RCA inputs. A hockey puck style wired control pod operates as a power switch and a volume control. It includes a bass level control switch, a headphone jack, and an extra 3.5mm input. The pod isn’t wireless though, adding another cable to your desk space.
Logitech’s speakers, available at Harvey Norman stores, can pump out Christmas carols for around €89.99. A cheaper option is the z333 speaker system, which sets you back €59.99.
