AeroMobil, a Slovakian tech-company, has presented their commercially available Version 4.0 flying car at the Top Marques Monaco 2017.
AeroMobil started out in 2010 with an ambitious idea and seven years later the company delivers the Version 4.0 Flying Car which is conform with the European and federal road vehicle and aircraft regulations. Previous versions have been built before, for instance, the Version 3.0 came out two years earlier but malfunctioned during a test drive.
The flying car can take up to two people but the driver needs a driver license and a pilot's license in order to use it. According to the company the car takes about 3 minutes to convert itself from flight to driving mode and visa-versa. It is not a full-fledged flying car but it is definitely a milestone. The technology comes with a hefty price tag though.
