The legendary drummer from The Band will be honoured on April 22.
The fifth Levon Helm tribute takes place on April 22 in The Sugar Club, Dublin. This year sees Hollywood actor and musician Patrick Bergin, fellow screen star and songwriter Bronagh Gallagher, Gavin Glass
and more remember the legendary sticksman.
The annual celebration of Levon has become a favourite in the live calendar with featured acts performing music from all stages of Levon’s career including Band classics, songs they worked on with Bob Dylan, Last Waltz material, his Grammy-award winning solo output and much more.
Also part of this year’s stellar cast are Square Pegs (featuring Graham Hopkins (The Frames) and Colm Quearney (ex-Lir), The Group (Last Waltz Tribute Act), The Eskies, The Mary Stokes Band, Skinny Elvis, The Straw Hall House Band (formerly Rag Mama Rag) and some very special guests to be announced.

RTE’s Cathal Murray will be the MC for the evening and after the live entertainment DJs karl Tsigdinos will play a selection of songs by Levon, The Band and friends late into the night.
