Presenter of The Breakfast Show on Newstalk
YOUR HERO OF 2006? Noel O’Gara for the Dartmouth Square stunt – buying a piece of land for ten grand and being up front about seeking e175 million for it. The honesty and audacity – I love it!
VILLAIN OF 2006? I’ve forgiven them all already.
BEST PERSONAL MOMENT? Making the decision to join the Breakfast Show on Newstalk.
BEST MOVIE? It wasn’t a great movie year for me, with no major stand-outs. Best of a bad lot would be Little Miss Sunshine. And my toilet-humour favourite was 40 Year Old Virgin.
BEST RECORD? Madeline Peyroux – Half The Perfect World
BEST TV PROGRAMME? Curb Your Enthusiasm.

BEST BOOK? Everyman by Philip Roth.
BEST THING ABOUT THE YEAR? Not perhaps the best thing, but certainly the most surreal...being taken to the High Court by my previous employer.
YOUR HOPE FOR NEXT YEAR?That the Breakfast Show on Newstalk is a massive success.
WHAT TICKLED YOUR FUNNYBONE IN 2006? The two men in Donegal who were caught drinking after hours because they went outside the pub at 4am, to have a cigarette.
