1. Lisbon Treaty
Evil Giraffe:
"If there were another vote today I'd still vote yes. Ye'd still vote no but I'd say 3% would have changed from No to yes already.
Not that that wouldn't make the whole thing any less laughable.
There'll be no second referendum any time soon. This is what we voted for.
Back to the negotiating table me bollix.
Ya gotta laugh at the poor fishermen too. "Uh excuse me Europe, remember all that fish we gave ye?"
....and will ye shut up about other countries not giving the people a voice...those are their rules...ever hear of parliamentary democracy? Over there they elect their governments to make decisions and legislate....over here we elect our government because they'll get you a passport or planning permission or because they're "A man of the people"
I'm glad we got a vote. I'll stand over the way I voted. I'll accept the result and I'll sit back and enjoy the show now.
Nothing else I can do."

2. Leonard Cohen
Helmet: "I went on the Friday night.........he really was magnificent!
He was loving the show, big dopey grin, kept calling us "friends"....top notch!
I grew up listening to my Dad's music, Laughing Lenny featured strongly in this upbringing....there was a secret part of me went to the gig 'cos my Dad never got the chance to but I was in no way disappointed.
As Igor said, it's definitely one I'll be looking back on for years to come!!!"

5. I need a job and the dole office are being cunts
Niallo;
"There I said it. I went down to claim the dole to help me get by while I get a job, and your one said that because I have travelled so much in the last 4 years I barely qualify as an Irish resident. I was pretty gobsmacked at this revelation, I mean I still feel as Irish as ever and drink enough Guinness to qualify the fact."
