SYNOPSIS
When 4-year-old Amanda McCready disappears from her bedroom in South Boston, her family, frustrated by police efforts, decide to take the law into their own hands. Upon hiring private investigators Patrick Kenzie (Casey Affleck) and Angie Genarro (Michelle Monaghan), a gripping and disturbing criminal investigation begins in the dark side of Boston, where the gritty working-class streets are lined with the wreckage of broken families and dreams.
