hotpress.com has undergone some major changes over the last few months and one of the key developments has been the integration of it's next generation flash streaming video player.
Over the next short period hotpress.com will be bringing literally hundreds of interviews and videos to your computer screen
For now we've got nearly three hours to start with to keep you entertained. Don't forget to try the full screen view - as long as you don't get caught in work!!!

Without a shadow of doubt, it was one of the emotional highpoints of Electric Picnic 07. The wait was intense in a packed and steamy Hot Press chatroom, with the Donaghmede giant arriving a full half an hour behind schedule. But did people mind? Not one bit.
With noise pumping left, right and centre outside, accompanied by his mandolin-toting sidekick John McLoughlin, Damien clambered aboard the small stage, tuned up the acoustic, drew us into a virtual circle around him, cracked a few earthy jokes and unleashed that mighty voice of his on 'Negative Vibes'. What followed was a wonderfully intimate, spell-binding 20 minute set of thoroughly inspiring music – raw, real, soulful and from the heart. Here it is...

Hot Press/Tisch NYU School of the Performing Arts: Spring 2007
Each new intake of students from the American college spends a semester in Dublin where, since 2003, they've been producing clips for such heavy-hitters as Duke Special, The Frames, The Walls, Republic Of Loose, Royseven and The Blizzards.
