Never had a 'tache'. I don't know where you got that one from. Still have the old quiff and 'Wolverine' sideburns though.

| I have no idea if he's a nice fella or not, but he's a musician to the soles of his boots. He listens and learns and so obviously loves music: Morrison, yeah, but also Dylan and Leonard Cohen as well as Lou Reed, The Pixies, Jeff Buckley and far too many more to mention.

| His da is a taxi driver He gave me a lift to the Voodoo Lounge a few years back. I was telling him I wason my way to watch my ex bf's band play and he goes 'oh really- my son is in a band too-Glen Hansard- ever hear of him?" and then I looked at the dashboard and low and behold his lamintated mug-shot displayed the surname Hansard. True story.

I've a whole load of time for Glen Hansard, but the biggest thing that he's achieved is showing that YOU CAN GET THERE even if it takes a while.
One wonders would he be able to even take that long now, when you probably can't even make a living wage out of selling records in Ireland - even as 'big' act like the frames were.
