mcshane is a joner for getting into the squad when he is finally axed, now he is in the team, better full backs in the LOI.

The likes of Clarke and coleman twiddling their thumbs with mcshane getting another cap, the mind boggles..

Exactly: how Ciaran Clarke and Seamus Coleman aren't on the plane, I cannot comprehend it.

Also, how the likes of Ireland, Hoolihan, Wilson, Reid, Potter, Gleeson, McCann, Clifford, Bell, Garvan, Flood, Tabb, McPhail and O'Toole aren't ahead of Paul Green I just can't comprehend

Coleman should be at the euros. Rate him highly.

fahy a creative midfielder pulls out and he replaces him with Green another bog standard midfielder with little or no creativity when Houlohan was the obvious replacement.

He likens Green to Gattuso. He, er, appreciates a ball winner in the centre of the park.

Can't say I agree with him, but he is quite clear about his preferences. The rugged centre midfielder is meant to win the ball and give it to the creative players - in Ireland's case the wingers. That's Trap's thing: a six man defence and a four man attack...
