€10,000 for 450 words
Check out the Powers Competition in association with the Irish Times. The deadline is Tuesday. They are giving the winner €10,000 for a 450 word flash fiction piece.

I'm going to enter in the hope that I can fly back to Vegas and see the LOVE show again before it ends. Only a few years left. Pity that Jim'll Fix It no longer exists.

i don't know it's sort of like a haiku for a short story isn't it. Is 450 words enough for a vignette?
