Edwin McFee

From Newry, County Down, Edwin McFee first jumped aboard the good ship Hot Press three-and-a-half years ago. Over the course of 90 issues or so, he has provided news on up-and-coming bands from NI, and featured the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, The Answer, And So I Watch You From Afar, General Fiasco and more, long before they broke into the mainstream. As well as also looking after reviews and features for HP, the tattooed former tunesmith also regularly contributes to Metal Hammer, NME, the Belfast Telegraph, Sunday Life and others. He counts interviewing Iron Maiden’s Bruce Dickinson and comic book demi-god Jim Lee among his career highlights so far.
