The Wicklow event is victorious in four categories.
Over 24,000 Irish festival goers cast their votes and now the results of the Irish Festival Awards 2012 are in.
Knockanstockan, which takes each summer at Blessington Lakes, proved to a huge hit with punters in 2012. The festival was named 'Best Small Festival', 'Best Family Festival', and was also selected for 'Best Lineup' and the 'Social Responsibility Award'. The organisers will be looking to build on that once more this year, when it runs July 26-28.
Elsewhere, Electric Picnic was named 'Best Large Festival', Arthur's Day is 'Best One Day Festival' and Dublin's Camden Crawl proved to be an instant hit, taking away the 'Best New Festival' gong.
