In Dublin, the tenth Hard Working Class Heroes festival has been and gone. The decade-long independent showcase of Irish music took place over three days, with over 100 bands and performers taking part. Amont them was local producer and film maker PolyDROID.
Otherwise known as Brian O’Malley, he is an avid collector of vintage analogue synths. His live show is a testament to that fondness; he also runs a live synth collective with Aidan Casserly, Night Of The Machines. The next installment takes place at NCH on December 13. Details at polydroid.com.
