They've also got two album launch parties in Dublin and Galway coming up.
Fresh from a performance at this year's Electric Picnic, Galwegian trio The Kanyu Tree have spent much of 2011 wowing audiences around the country - next up on their list of things to do is release that all important debut album.
With that in mind, People Street will be released by Sony on September 30. Its ten-song tracklist will include previous singles 'Shelf Life' and the immaculate 'Radio', as well as brand new single 'Slow'. People Street was co-produced by Ali Shaheed Muhammad from A Tribe Called Quest and the Cluksey brothers.
To mark the occasion, the boys will play, not one, but two launch gigs. The Dublin party takes place in Whelan's on that all-important September 30 date, while their homecoming show at Galway is scheduled for October 6 in the Roisin Dubh. Tickets for both dates are available from Friday at usual outlets.
The boys are currently mid-tour, supporting Bressie on his jaunt around the country.
