Festival season in Belfast has already gone well beyond the point of being an embarrassment of riches this year, so why not throw in some of the hottest homegrown talent for good measure!
Florence & The Machine's visit to Belfast has already sold out, and tickets are going thick and fast for all other shows, so keep an eye pealed for these latest additions going on sale, because we bet they won't last long either.
Two Door Cinema Club absolutely rocked Oxegen this year, and perhaps in a fit of excitement we at Hot Press envisioned them being future headliners, and why not - things just seem to be going upwards and outwards for TD cinema club of late, and there's no signs of stopping. Meanwhile Ash are on the opposite end of the spectrum having conquered the world on what seems like countless occasions, and how fitting it is in 2010 for them to be playing Belsonic - showing all those bright-eyed young Northern bands the way to do it.
Meanwhile what more can we say about Heathers that we haven't already said? They've the most universally recognizable Irish tune of the last decade under their belt, a cracking debut album and they're only getting into the swing of things in 2010. Without naming names, there is another set of Irish twins taking the world by storm in 2010, but we reckon the McNamara's might have them beaten on the musical front.
