Radiohead tribute for The Button Factory
Some familiar faces will be performing The Bends.
The Universal Funk Orchestra make their Dublin debut on September 19 when they play the Button Factory.
Running under the “No rules, no rehearsals, no refunds!” banner, the ever-changing collection of local musicians and guest singers will be performing the whole of Radiohead’s seminal 1995 album, The Bends.
Previous gigs have found them covering the likes of Rust Never Sleeps, Blood On The Tracks and The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars with considerable aplomb. UFO return to the Temple Bar venue on October 10 to jam their way through John Martyn’s Solid Air.
Admission is €10 before 9pm, €12 after.
