Robotnik to headline, in a show of philanthropy worthy of Bono himself
The Scoop foundation, which funds an orphanage in Cambodia and a school for street kids in India, has organised a charity fundraiser for Saturday, August 15, with help from Bodytonic Music.
It all kicks off with a soccer tournament in Ringsend, which you can register for
here. There's a keg of beer for the winners.
Then there's a bbq and after party in the Bernard Shaw, with prizes for the best and worst-dressed teams. At this point a mysteriously titled 'disco bus' will bring everyone down to Twisted Pepper for the main event - live music, DJs, comedy and installations. Among the bands lined up are Cousin Elias and nine-piece funk outfit The Candidates.

Admission to Twisted Pepper is €10. Raffle prizes on the night include Electric Picnic tickets, Heineken Cup tickets and meals in various swanky restaurants.
