Alela Diane tour + new album
Catch the American before she becomes ginormous.
Alela Diane arrives in next week for shows in Crawdaddy, Dublin (July 21); Cyprus Avenue, Cork (22); and The Big Top, Galway (23 + Bon Iver).
Hailing from Nevada City, her The Pirate’s Gospel debut was adjudged to be the Rough Trade Records Album of the Year 2006, and lead to shows with the likes of The Decembrists, Iron & Wine and Akron/Family.
Often compared to Joanna Newsom, her To Be Still follow up is out on July 17 and reviewed in the next issue of Hot Press.
