Belfast gets a new festival
MoNIO makes its marquee bow in August.
Belfast’s summer has just become even busier with the announcement of the MoNIO, a.k.a. Music of a Northern Irish Origin, festival.
Taking place over two days in a marquee in the grounds of the King’s Head, the initial batch of acts is:
Saturday August 1 – David Holmes & Wallis Bird
Sunday August 2 – Iain Archer & The Four Of Us
Monio is the brainchild of musician Foy Vance and Norn Iron mover and shaker Paul Hamilton.
