Galway Volvo Ocean Race Festival announces musical line-up

Kila, The Hothouse Flowers, The Coronas, Sharon Shannon, Aslan and The Stunning are among those playing free gigs as part of the two-week Festival, which runs from May 23 to June 6.

The festival will also host street theatre, art exhibits and of course, a shedload of boats, as the international Volvo Ocean Race makes its only stop-off in Ireland when the 70-strong fleet of yachts arrive in Galway Bay on the weekend of May 23.
