Elliot Minor play Irish dates
Catch the UK pop rock outfit at gigs in Dublin and Belfast this June.
The English pop punk 5 piece play the Academy on June 24 and Spring & Airbrake on June 26, their first Irish dates since last year's Oxegen gig, where they headlined the New Band stage.
Their debut self-titled album, released last year, hit number six in the charts, and gave the group five top 20 singles.
The band says they're inspired by classical music, citing US composer John Williams as an influence. And although we don't quite hear it ourselves(!), there's no denying their musical talent – all members of the band are classically trained, playing a broad selection of instruments between them.
Tickets for the Belfast gig (over 18s) are £14.00, on sale this Thursday, April 23. The Academy show (all ages, under 16s to be accompanied by an adult) is €17.50, on sale this Friday April 24.
