Jerry Fish confirms album release
The Beautiful Untrue will be with us in April.
After being out of the rock ‘n’ roll spotlight for far too long, Jerry Fish & The Mudbug Club have confirmed the April 24 unleashing of his new album, The Beautiful Untrue.
Produced by the boy Fish himself, recorded by The Jesus & Mary Chain and My Bloody Valentine man Dick Meaney and mixed by Phil Hayes of Bell X1 and Cake Sale fame, it’s trailed by download single ‘Back To Before’, which has a “Parisian circus feel and sounds like it came from the soundtrack of Amelie or City Of The Lost Children.”
Making cameo appearances on two of the tracks are Carol Keogh and Meteor Award-winner Imelda May.
“I know that it’s taken forever to complete,” Jerry concedes. “If it’s any comfort to you all, I’ve been making lots of babies in the interim, and I’m very happy for it.”
Subscribers to his jerry-fish.com mailing-list will be treated to a sneak preview, so sign up now.
