My Bloody Valentine confirm Coachella headliner
Kevin Shields & Co. will be soaking up the Californian sunshine in April.
My Bloody Valentine have been confirmed for Coachella 2009, which takes place from April 17 to 19.
They were in the frame to play the desert festival last year, but opted instead to make their live return indoors at the London ICA. The date may or may not coincide with the release of a new studio album – their first since 1991’s legendary Loveless album.
The line-up also includes Leonard Cohen, Morrissey, Paul McCartney, The Killers, Amy Winehouse, Franz Ferdinand, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Cure and White Lies.
Three-day passes priced $269 (around €210) are available from www.coachella.com/tickets.
