This is the first single taken from The Aloof’s much anticipated third album, Seeking Pleasure. Take away all the epic, grandiose mood effects of orchestras and electronic seas undulating from the back to the foreground of the musical landscape, and what you’re left with – sadly – is a fairly banal lyric about the end of an affair that’s neither revealing nor all that original.
