Bands announced for Hot Press Clinic

The event was open to acts from the south-east and the 8 selected will each get to spend 45 minutes in a private and confidential mentoring session with a panel from the music industry, including Hot Press writer Jackie Hayden.
Beat FM’s Rob Connor will broadcast his show from the venue on that day, so the participating bands may also be in line for some valuable radio exposure.

The acts selected are as follows:

79 Cortinaz from Carlow
Floyd Soul and The Wolf from Waterford
Bob Martin from New Ross
The Focus Group from Enniscorthy
Jack Hanafin from Blackwater
Ghetto Amaretto from Waterford
Chaser from Crossabeg
Jester from Tipperary

Jackie Hayden will review CDs by 6 of the above acts in a forthcoming edition of his Hot Press column First Cuts.
