“Accept Mortality.......(& Freedom is Your Bone)” they say on the sleeve. Welcome to the slightly nightmarish, psychotic and obscure world of Rollerskate Skinny. Wilfully and wonderfully perverse on the second track ‘Entropy’ it’ll probably be the opener ‘Miss Leader’, taken from Shoulder Voices, which will be regarded as the ‘a-side.’

It’s a broodingly garish investigation, as far as I can make out, into the end of a relationship, more worryingly psychological than therapeutically psychoanalytical and but for the rather irritating Robert Plant impersonations, would be thoroughly engaging. Dark and dangerous, nevertheless.
