Divine Comedy and Duke Special duet: details confirmed
As revealed on hotpress.com, The Divine Comedy and Duke Special do piano battle on October 14 in Vicar St, with Dave Couse playing his first Dublin show in two years supporting.
Billed as ‘The Old Showman vs. The Young Pretender of Ulster Chanson’, it’s part of Amnesty International’s Small Places Tour 2008, which kicks off globally on September 10 and runs through to December 10 with plenty of Irish stop-offs.
Already firm friends and occasional studio partners, Neil and Peter are promising some very special, never to be repeated musical treats.
Tickets priced €29 go on sale on Wednesday August 13.
