Large Mound prepare for charity three-gig day
Dublin rockers Large Mound will stretch the limits of endurance this August 23, with three gigs in one day – and with a healthy dose of charitable intentions.
1pm sees the band play a free set in Tower Records. Then it's on to a Barnados charity gig in The Hub with Betamax Format and Terrordactyl. Admission is €8, and the first 40 paying punters will be put on the guestlist for the later set.
Finally, from 11:30pm onwards the band will be in Crawdaddy with The Bonnevilles, priced €10/14 again with a Barnados donations bucket on the door.

The band is warming up for Electric Picnic duties the following weekend, and also plays the Irish Green Gathering this Saturday 9 August at 7:30pm.
