Nitin Sawhney set for Tripod headliner
Multi-instrumentalist Nitin Sawhney has announced a date at Dublin's Tripod.
Sawhney, whose last appearance in Ireland was in 2004, plays on October 31.
New album London Underground is expected on October 10, described by the man himself as "a collection of thoughts, ideas, feelings and catharsis in a city of immense diversity, imagination and beliefs." It partly takes inspiration from a musical collaborator's experience of the 7/7 bombings and shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes.
