Mike Watt and Steve McKay who were in town playing with Iggy and The Stooges came to the Dublin studio to contribute to a project which Ashtown Recording Studios are hoping will capture the elusive raw sound of some of Ireland's best live bands.
Blood Or Whiskey and Paranoid Visions were among more than twenty acts who signed up for the idea.
The two part-time Stooges, with Irish band Estel, and Ashtown Recording Studio's Tommy O'Sullivan, put down a full live album, set for release later this year in Ireland.
