Miriam Ingram adds Whelan's gig
Miriam Ingram has announced a visit to Whelan’s next month, which finds her accompanied by an 11-piece band.
She plays Whelan’s on June 3, then journeys to the Roisin Dubh, Galway on June 10 for a double-header with Ann Scott at which they’ll both perform each other’s songs.
It’s been a busy 2008 for Ingram who, in addition to readying material for her third album, has composed the music for a new play, Through A Film Darkly, with fellow band member Colin Morris.
With that going down a storm, the duo have now been asked to score Catalyst Award-winner Margaret Corkery’s new movie, Eamonn.
