Lennox takes Galway to desert island
Annie Lennox has listed the version of Debussy’s ‘Syrinx’ as recorded by Irish flautist James Galway as one of the eight tracks she would take to a desert island.
The singer was talking about her choice on the BBC Radio 4 programme Desert Island Discs last Sunday.
Apart from Galway, her other selections included The Beatles, Aretha Franklin, Glen Campbell, Otis Redding and Blue Nile.
