Daniel Lanois adds Irish gigs

He plays the Irish Film Institute, Dublin (May 31) and the Town Hall Theatre, Galway (July 1).
Following a screening of his Here Is What Is documentary film, the celebrated Canadian will perform live with drummer Brian Blade.
As revealed last year in Hot Press, Here Is What Is features guest appearances by Willie Nelson, Emmylou Harris, Aaron Neville, Billy Bob Thornton, Sinéad O’Connor and U2 who are currently benefiting from his studio expertise in Windmill Lane.
