Murphy's Live finalists announced
Dublin band Bravado will battle it out with Waterford's Gorbachov in the Murphy's Live 2008 final next month.
Four hundred and fifty bands entered this year's Murphy's Live competition, and now it's down to the final two.
Gorbachov and Bravado, from Waterford and Dublin respectively, have battled it out through the live heats to make it to the final, which will take place in The Savoy, Cork, on May 15.
The Enemy will guest headline the night, meaning the pressure's on to impress. And only one act will get to take home the €10,000 prize.
Bravado (pictured) have been together less than a year, and yet their live sets show heaps of raw talent, and a self-assured swagger that's sure to stand to them in this high-pressure showdown.
Five-piece rock outfit Gorbachov have a bit more experience, having spent the last four years touring across the UK and Ireland, supporting acts like The Frames and The Blizzards and standing out with the XFM featured single 'Mr Fahrenheit'.
Tickets for the Murphy's Live final are free, log on to www.murphyslive.com or call 01 6787090 to apply.
