David Holmes adds track to The Oh Yeah Sessions
Superstar DJ and film scorer extraordinaire David Holmes contributes an exclusive track to the forthcoming Carling Supports: The Oh Yeah Sessions ’08.
The album will raise funds for the Holmes, Gary Lightbody and Tim Wheeler-supported Oh Yeah music centre in Belfast.
Recorded recently in the city’s Drama Studio, ‘McCready Rides Again’ was co-written by David and Brian Eno’s mate Leo Abrahams.
Out on April 21, the sampler will also feature a track apiece from rising Norn Iron talents Kowalski, The Panama Kings, Cashier No. 9, LaFaro, And So I Watch You From Afar, Mojo Fury, General Fiasco, The Jane Bradfords and In Case Of Fire, the Portadown trio whose Align The Planets album is causing much excitement in hard rock circles.
If you happen to be in London on April 18, Mark Williamson and the Robinsons, Steve and Colin are appearing as part of the Camden Crawl.
