After carefully scrutinising the sackfuls of entries that were received – seriously, the postman’s stopped talking to us, The Coronas, Sinéad O’Connor & The Republic Of Loose, The Future Kings Of Spain, Pamela Connolly, The Brilliant Things, The Mighty Stef, Halves, Not Men But Giants and Choice Music Prize winners Super Extra Bonus Party are all about to indulge in some lights, camera, rock action.
Sadly, the deal doesn’t involve a trip to the Big Apple with the Tisch students basing themselves in Dublin for a semester.
The leading college of its kind in America, the Tisch alumni includes Oliver Stone, Alec Baldwin, Spike Lee, Amy Heckerling, Ang Lee and Martin Scorcese.
Now into its fifth year, the scheme has supplied the likes of The Walls, Headgear, The Frames, Julie Feeney, Duke Special, Laura Izibor, The Franks And Walters with pro-quality promos that have aired on RTÉ, TV3, Channel 6, the BBC, ITV and MTV.
