Joe Chester reveals new album details and launch gig
Joe Chester gives his new album, The Tiny Pieces Left Behind, the official launch treatment on April 18 with a show in Whelan’s.
Joined by an all-star cast that includes Ann Scott, Gemma Hayes and Concerto For Constantine man Binzer, the collection features ‘Something Is Better (Than Nothing At All)’, ‘The Right Place’, ‘The Bodies Start To Move’, ‘Fluorescent Light’, ‘To Hold Onto Melting Love’, ‘Why Things Break’, ‘Long Distance Friend’, ‘Alarms’, ‘The Tiny Pieces Left Behind’ and lead single ‘Maybe This Is Not Love’, which is available now as a free download from myspace.com/joechester.
After being recorded in France and Ireland, The Tiny Pieces Left Behind was mastered by John Golden, whom Joe sought out because of the work he’s done with Sonic Youth.
