Norway's Ungdomskulen to play Dublin
Ungdomskulen, a fourpiece rock group from Norway, pay a visit to Irish shores next month.
Cult Norwegians Ungdomskulen kick the New Year off on January 11 with a show in Whelan’s.
Hailing from Bergen, they were memorably described recently as “the sound of Steve Albini playing progrock disco.”
The chaps will be showcasing their debut album, Cry Baby, which was released in September through Ever Records.
And, in case you're wondering, although their name sounds vaguely death metal, it's actually the Norwegian word for 'youth school'. There, not quite so threatening now, is it?
