Dr. Strangely Strange release 'lost' album
Legendary Irish rock act Dr. Strangely Strange plan a release for later this month.
One of Ireland most legendary rock acts, Dr. Strangely Strange, finally have their ‘lost’ 1969/1970 album, Halycon Days, released on June 25 by UK independent Hux Records.
Comprised at the time of Tim Booth, Tim Goulding and Ivan Pawle, the band’s ranks at one time or the other also featured Gay and Terry Woods, Andy Irvine, Johnny Moynihan, Brush Shiels and Gary Moore.
Also of interest is the album’s producer Joe Boyd who worked with Pink Floyd while there was still a “The” in front of their name, and subsequently did time with Billy Bragg and REM.
