dEUS frontman to guest in special film screening
The frontman of Belgian alt-indie merchants dEUS is to make a special appearance at the IFI in Dublin the night before the Electric Picnic.
He'll be introducing his film Any Way The Wind Blows, a contemporary drama revolving around eight interconnected characters living in his beloved home city Antwerp.
The film, made in 2003, will be screened at the IFI on Thursday August 31, 10.40pm, as a ‘warm-up’ event to the highly anticipated Electric Picnic 2006.
dEUS, who released their acclaimed Pocket Revolution album last year, will be playing the festival the following day.
If you're interested in hearing '7 Days, 7 Weeks' from the LP, you're in luck as it's one of the 10 tracks included in a free CD with this issue of Hot Press.
