Bell X1 donate track to Oxfam
BellX1 have given one of the tracks from their Flock album to Oxfam as a free download to publicise the charity’s ‘Generation Why’ arms control initiative.
“The arms trade is something I’ve been interested in for a while, as it fuels much injustice and suffering worldwide,” says Paul Noonan. “Western governments must be called to task for granting arms export licences in cases where doing so fuels tyranny and oppression, such as in Israel and Indonesia.”
‘Still Selling Shoes’ can be accessed at www.oxfam.org.uk and follows on from the band inviting the ‘Generation Why’ crew to accompany them on their recent UK tour.
