Brian Jonestown Massacre to play Ireland
The band are certain to cause a commotion as they tread Irish soil for the first time.
Brian Jonestown Massacre will infuse Belfast and Dublin with sounds they've never heard live before when they play Mandela Hall (May 15) and Vicar St. (16).
Dandy Warhols’ co-stars in the Dig!, if you will, rockumentary, the band will be plugging their recently released We Are The Radio EP, which includes the magnificent ‘Never Become Emotionally Attached To A Man, Woman, Beast Or Child’.
Sage-like advice from a band dedicated, in their own words, to “keeping music evil”.
Talking of which, former Fugazi man Ian MacKaye is bringing his new DC duo, The Evens, to Common Grounds, Belfast (March 28) and the Nerve Centre, Derry (29). His current partner in crime is Amy Farina who used to drum with MacKaye’s brother Alec in The Warmers.
