The Marshal Stars recording with John Cornfield
The Marshal Stars have recruited maverick producer John Cornfield to work on their debut album
The Marshal Stars have upped sticks for Cornwall’s Sawmills studios where they’re recording their debut album with hotshot producer John Cornfield.
“We considered many big name producers and indeed were booked into two studios in LA for July only to cancel when we heard that John was available,” says their manager Richard McDonogh. “His work with Muse, Supergrass and Razorlight were big factors. He understands the three-piece format very well and works with an analogue feel that not many producers can get in this largely digital era.”
The subject of rave reviews for their contribution to the Faction One CD sampler, the Dublin retro rockers escape from the studio for a Saturday July 9 appearance at Oxegen.
