New Order and QOTSA confirmed for Oxegen
Today brings two more high-profile additions to the Oxegen bill
New Order and Queens Of The Stone Age have been confirmed to play Oxegen, as predicted on hotpress.com last week.
Brilliant news for New Order fans, as this will be their first live appearance in Ireland since they supported Red Hot Chili Peppers at Dublin's Lansdowne Road in the summer of 2002.
The Oxegen festival takes place on July 9 and 10 at Punchestown Racecourse, Co. Kildare, and the preliminary line-up for each day is as follows:
Saturday 9 July: Green Day, The Frames, The Prodigy, Queens Of The Stone Age, Erick Morillo, Ian Brown, Kasabian, Razorlight
Sunday 10 July: Foo Fighters, Keane, The Killers, New Order, The Streets, Audioslave, James Brown, The Beautiful South
Tickets for the event, priced €64.50 (one day), €120.00 (two day) and €145.00 (two day including camping) are on sale now from the usual outlets nationwide.
