Coil, Rahzel and DJ Bone are among the acts confirmed for this year's Dublin Electronic Arts Festival
Just when you thought you'd waved goodbye to the summer festival season, along comes DEAF - as it does every year – to deliver a week of exhilarating electronica from October 19 to 25.
This year, the Dublin Electronic Arts Festival also promises to be more accessible. Spread out across various city centre venues - rather than concentrated in the traditional Guinness Storehouse weekender - many of the events will be under €15 or free.
The festival kicks off on October 19 with a performance by human beatbox and 'vocal percussionist' with The Roots, Rahzel. 'The Godfather of Noyze' will be supported at The Village by Dublin's Choice Cuts DJs.
On October 20, The Sugar Club will host the premier screening of the Robert Moog documentary (about the inventor of the Moog synthesizer), plus a live audio-visual performance by Donal Dineen and a performance by Jape.

And perhaps the biggest highlight on the DEAF calendar comes courtesy of John Balance and Peter Christopherson (ex-Throbbing Gristle) - better known as UK-based industrial pioneers Coil. Supported by Decal, they perform at Dublin City Hall on October 23.
Other international and homegrown talents appearing during DEAF include Juan Atkins, DJ Bone, Manu Le Malin, The Producer, The Horrorist, Robert Hood, Christina Carter, David Donohue, Donnacha Costello, Herv, Polska, the Alphabet Set and more.
