Christy Moore confirmed for the London Fleadh
Further artists have been announced for the London Fleadh bill, while elsewhere, headliner Bob Dylan has been revealed as the unlikely new face of Victoria's Secret underwear
Not content with his 6-CD box-set going top 5 in Ireland, Christy Moore hotfoots it over to Finsbury Park on June 20 for a Main Stage appearance at the London Fleadh.
Also confirmed to appear alongside the headlining Bob Dylan are Counting Crows, Delays, John Prine, Laura Cantrell, Kathryn Williams, Nick Harper and Laura Veils.
Meanwhile, the Dylan camp have confirmed that His Bobness is to spearhead the new advertising campaign for Victoria's Secret underwear.
The first time he's ever appeared in a commercial, the 63-year-old will be seen ogling a scantily dressed model at the Venice Palazzo while his 1997 song, 'Love Sick', plays in the background.
"I can't speak for his motivation but it certainly wouldn't be commercial," says a spokesman for Dylan's record company. "We think this is a great way to reach people with Bob's music. We're thrilled that he said 'yes' when we asked him to be in the commercial."
