Hedrock Valley Beats chart number 1 in Australia
The Northern band shot to the top in a national radio request show
Derry dance act Hedrock Valley Beats broke big Antipodean ground at the weekend, shooting in at number 1 in Australia’s biggest radio request show, the Triple J Net 50.
Good going for the lads considering their song 'How Do You Feel' had only been on the Triple J playlist for a week.
Triple J is the national youth broadcaster for ABC public radio and is highly regarded by music lovers of every age bracket. The J’s were instrumental in generating huge Australian interest in The Frames, ahead of their sell-out Sydney show last year.
For their part, Hedrock Valley Beats are delighted by their Southern Hemisphere support and have announced they will be touring Australia in February of next year.
