Nina Hynes confirmed for Witnness 2003

Nina Hynes is the latest confirmation for the bill of Witnness 2003.

Fresh from an appearance at the Spalicek Festival, Czech Republic - where she played alongside also-specially-invited Irish artists Glen Hansard and The Tycho Brahe - you can see her on the Upstage on Sunday morning, from noon until 12.30.

She'll be backed up on the day by 33% of The Tycho Brahe, namely Donal O'Mahony, as well as longtime TTB associates Dip Higgins and John Dermody (both from The Jimmy Cake).

All of whom, we should add, also played alongside her at her Czech festival slot - and at both bands' warmup dates in Vienna, Austria - under the moniker "A Bunch Of Drunks". Hic!

Meanwhile, The Jimmy Cake (all 9 of them, including another 33% of the Tychos, Diarmuid Mac Diarmada) will be appearing at Witnness on the Rising stage on Sunday, from 3.30. And the final 3rd of The Tycho Brahe (for anyone who is still following), Carol Keogh, will be lending her pipes as per usual to Autamata, who can be found on the Onstage on Sunday, from 2.25pm.

Math rock, or what?
