Stop press: Witnness line-up announced!

‘Tis the moment of reckoning, folks: the line-up for the most anticipated festival in Ireland, Witnness 2003, has just been announced!

As reported on hotpress.com way back when in February, Coldplay will be headlining the Saturday night (that’s July 12), with Zwan, Underworld, The Flaming Lips, The Polyphonic Spree, The Streets, Supergrass, The Roots, The Revs, Lemon Jelly, Richie Hawtin, The Datsuns, Snow Patrol, Echo & The Bunnymen and The Walls beefing up the bill for what promises to be the strongest line-up yet.

A venue change is also in order, as the festival jumps ship to Punchestown Racecourse in Co. Kildare, home of last year’s Ozzfest and Creamfields extravaganzas.

Tickets go on sale at 8am on Friday April 11. We suggest you start queuing now.
